Very warm/inviting team and atmosphere. Owner is often there and is very engaged. One of the most kid friendly eateries I know. Excellent quality pizza esp if you like Neapolitan style. The dough reminds me a lot of Manhattan pizza dough (perhaps the water they use as well?). If you want the best gluten free crust in the area this is it / it’s the only place I know in the suburbs that make their own GF dough (think of Sicilian style like crust). Hope they don’t change as they get busier

We stopped in around 1:30 and when you get out of the car the music is BUMPIN we instantly started bust’n down dance moves in the parking lot. We walk in and Rachel greeted us with the same amazing energy. There we were, all bust’n a move. Rachel <3 100/10 for being so kind and truly such an awesome person. Coming back for the food but also for Rachel We ordered the B-OG and the garlic knots. Once we ate those knots we knew the pizza was gonna SLAP The dough was so so so tasty and had the best crispy-ness . The marinara was fresh and had all the right flavors. That pizza… was so delicious. The hot honey really complimented all the toppings and it’s a perfect ratio of spicy to sweet. Our experience was truly amazing. We will be coming back to try that buffalo chicken pizza. To be continued

I've been searching for years for a good pizza joint and Lantern Pizza is it! The service is impeccable and they are a Coke establishment. They also have a pizza bar top right next to the kitchen so you can sit, eat and watch them make pizza. Highly recommended.

We were craving some woodfired pizza when we came across this place. I was surprised that I didn't know about this place earlier. We got the Fredo's chicken and shroom pizza and loved it! It was perfectly baked, had right amount of toppings and was very delicious. We loved the garlic bread and marinara dip. The atmosphere is relaxed and prices are very reasonable. Would definitely recommend if you want to have a good woodfired pizza!

Very good pizza with a good selection. The dough had a great cook, plenty of air in it and a nice toasty crisp top crust. This is not a crust you will be leaving on the plate when you are done either. We had a pepperoni and a "The B-OG" which we ordered with the hot honey on the side as I am not a fan of sweet with savory dishes. Wife enjoyed the hot honey with the pizza though. I would like to say this is a close second place of pizza that we have had and we have driven to Minnesota for pizza at Pizzeria Lola from Ann Kim. I also was able to get some of the giardiniera which while very good, hot little heat until you hit the oil at the bottom so. I would recommend mixing it up before using if you like the heat to be throughout, but honestly, the fresh crispness of the peppers without was an amazing pair for the pizza. The sauce was amazing on the pizzas as well because they were not overly sweet and still had distinct flavors that did not just seem like "pizza sauce". Such a good pizza.

Lantern Pizza is phenomenal!! The pizza is absolutely delicious - truly Neapolitan style crust, super fresh ingredients, cooked perfectly. I cannot get enough of their toasted garlic ricotta- if they sold it by the quart, I’d be first in line. I’m Vegetarian & LOVE the Spinach & Artichoke White Pizza (extra ricotta), my kids love the Pepperoni Pizza & we all love the classic Cheese! I’ve recommended it to countless people and always hear good things back. It is heads and shoulders above 99% of American pizza restaurants. I haven’t been to Italy yet but I’ve made it my business to eat pizza all around this country and rarely is it this good. Also (and importantly) the staff is incredibly friendly! I order a few times a month at least, and Danielle And Rachel quickly started greeting me by name. Now everyone does! I just found out that they’re a family business, which makes perfect sense- everyone is enthusiastically customer focused. You really get the sense that these are genuinely nice people who care very much about your experience. And they’re passionate about making great pizza!! All-around, it’s a great place!!

Me and my girlfriend have been passing by this pizza place almost every time we drop off our orders at USPS for close to a year now and we’ve always said we needed to stop by. We finally did, and wow… we wish we had sooner! The pizza is literally amazing with so many options to choose from. The service was spot on super welcoming and friendly and the atmosphere was clean and comfortable. Definitely our new go to pizza spot!

As someone with celiac disease who has to eat a gluten free diet, this place is a little slice of paradise. The gluten free crust is soft on the inside and crunchy out, it has the same texture of focaccia bread. There is a separate oven and prep space for gf pizza so cross contact is no a worry. There are many different toppings options we try and try something new every time, but the buffalo and spinach artichoke are standouts. Even the non gf people in our group loved the gluten free crust! We will definitely be back and are making this a new place in our rotation.
